Total redesign & modernization

 This house is a working holiday rental as well as 2nd home. There was a need to upgrade and modernize. It had a small old fashioned pool area, with a dark entrance overgrown with dense pines. Generating too much shade & mess and made planting challenging. I proposed a long modern pool, jacuzzi and dramatic water feature & deck area ideal for all the deck chairs required. I introduced hardy and varied Mediterranean planting easily maintained by gardener. 

BEFORE

Original dark entrance overgrown with dense pines. Generating too much shade & mess and left plants struggling. The brief was to replace the old fashioned pool with a new modern longer pool, and to rethink the area & create an attractive sustainable garden. I organised the removal of 4 large pines & supervised significant earthworks to remove previous pool, so as to follow my design for the new shaped pool and proposed composite decking.
